We are excited to offer reading AND math tutoring this spring for individuals with Down syndrome. There are 3 reading spots and 5 math spots available so if you want a spot do not wait! Here are the details:
Who: Individuals with Down Syndrome
What: Tutoring in reading AND math, you choose which one when signing up (in reading we have a researched-based program for Kindergarten through the 2nd-grade level and then other great research-based materials for 3rd-grade level and above, in math we will assess the individual's needs and work on specific skills)
Where: EIDS Office- 1675 S Woodruff, Idaho Falls
When: Tuesdays and Thursdays, Feb 13th- May 16th. Sessions are 45 min long.
Reading times (student goes TWICE a week): Tues/Thurs 5:30 pm, 6:15 pm, 7:00 pm
Math times (student goes ONCE a week): Tuesday 5:30 pm, Tuesday 6:15 pm, Thursday 5:30 pm, Thursday 6:15 pm. Thursday 7:00 pm
Cost: $450 per child for reading (twice a week) and $280 per child for math (once a week) (must be a registered member of EIDS to be enrolled in the tutoring program)...we will contact you for payment once we get your registration

Champs Hearts has invited us to come enjoy horse back riding at their new home!. They have miniature horses, wagon rides and large horses to ride as well. They can accommodate 10 people each session, which is one hour long. Session one will be from 6-7pm and session two will be 7-8pm There is a cap on registration so register ASAP!

Come join us for a one-night-only magical performance by the Ultimate Elvis- David Lee. David Lee has traveled all over the United States putting on amazing Elvis concerts. He met one of our EIDS self-advocates, Jared Walton, last summer and wanted to come perform in Idaho as it is only 1 of 4 states he has not performed in! We are thrilled to have him coming to Eastern Idaho! Join us for this amazing concert on Saturday, July 6th at 5 pm. The concert will be at the Blackfoot Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $25 (individuals with Down syndrome are free).

ONCE YOU PURCHASE TICKETS YOU WILL GET A CONFIRMATION EMAIL. PRINT THE CONFIRMATION EMAIL AS YOUR TICKET(S).

We are excited to offer our first Back to School IEP Basics/Make and Take. Bring your child's IEP, any questions you may have and their school schedule and home routine. If you have a lab top bring that as well!
A snack and drink will be provided. If you have specific dietary needs, please bring your own snacks.
This make and take is $35.00 and includes one binder, file folders, sharpie, velcro and all the things you need to make a visual schedule for school an home.
